Jeremy’s Friends is now in its 15th year of raising money for the kids in the Transitional Care Unit at Cook Children’s Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas. To date with your help we have raised $1.3 million dollars! There are some exciting changes coming soon to Cook Children’s Medical Center! Expansion plans at Cook Children’s include the addition of a new 26 bed Transitional Care and Rehab Center which will provide specialized state-of-the-art care to children struggling to overcome neurological injuries and disease. The newCenter will offer a gymnasium, a track system to aid in patient transfers, and space allocated for family amenities.
July 2009 News
There are some exciting changes coming soon to Cook Children's Medical Center! A new building is under way and the Neurological department is getting their own floor. Because of what Jeremy's Friends has done over the last 14 years, Cook Children's Medical Center is planning on naming a room after Jeremy! We appreciate your support in the past and hope that you will continue to help us with this wonderful cause. We have some different events planned for 2009 so check them out!
2009 Updates
It's hard to believe, but here it is - March already and spring is on the way. On Monday - March 9th at Manheim's Dallas-Fort Worth location - 12101 Trinity Boulevard, Euless, Texas - Jeremy's Friends presented Cook Children's with a check for $ 70,000 from the annual fall Auction and Golf Tournament. More details to follow shortly.

June 2008
May was a busy month and the Poker Tournament was a HUGE success. Were gathering all the details for you here and will have them posted soon. Also we'll have some photos of the event as well. Keep checking back for more information.

Lot's of activity going on this year, so be sure to check all the links on the left. We had a great Blue Bonnet Run in April. If you like to play cards - your chance is coming up later this month, and we know there are a number of you that really like to glide those shiny black balls down a nice waxed lane - the Bowl A Thon is in July. And for those avid linksters, September should be a fine time of year to parctice on your 'birdies'. Also in September our annual Live and Silent Auction. And if time and weather permits, were looking forward to a fall motorcycle run as well. Keep checking back for all the details.

Were beginning to get spring fever, and what better way to get a breath of fresh air than with a Motorcycle Ride in the country. We'll fret no more - we have just the cure for this spring fever. This year will mark the initial "Jeremy's Blue Bonnet Run" motorcycle trek through the neighboroing countryside. See the Jeremy's Ride section for all the detials. Were sure that you will enjoy this event and look forward to seeing you in April.

Thanks to everyone who participated in our combined Golf Tournament and Auction event. Jeremy's Friends is proud to announce that a check in the amount of $ 100,000 was presented to Cook Children's Medical Center on November 14, 2007.
Without your continued support we would not have been able to present such a generous donation.

This year we are approaching things in a bit differnt fashion. The biggest change will be that our Golft Tournament and Charity Auction will both occur on the same day. In the past the Golf Tournament was the day following the Charity Auction.
We also have some changes for Jeremy's Ride - which will be a scenic ride, and an event after the ride. We'll have more details about that in the next few weeks.
This year marks the 11th year that this event has been conducted in honor of Jeremy Post. Were excited to be able to continue this great benefit for Cook Childrens Hospital of Fort Worth, and we hope that you will continue to support us as well.

Thanks to everyone who has participated in our events this year. We have surpassed our $ 1 Million Dollar mark of direct doncations to the Cook Children's Medical Center - thanks to each and everyone who has generously supported this endeavour. All of our events have been great this year, and it's all because of your support of these events. We'll have more information on the site in the next few days and weeks - so keep checking our site for all the details.

This year we will be having our First Annual - Jeremy's Friends Poker Tournament. The Tournament will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Dallas Fort Worth Auto Auction. The event is a "Rapid Blindes" 4 hour tournament with the final table of 6 players. Prizes include seats in the upcoming WSOP, as well as the Red River Classic. The dates for the 11th Annual Jeremy's Friends Charity Auction and Golf Tournament have been set for Saturday and Sunday - September 9th and 10th.
These dates continue with our tradition of supporting this event just after the Labor Day holiday.
Keep checking back for more information on our other events to be held throughout the year, as well as the Golf Course that will be selected for the tournament.

The 10th Annual Jeremy's Friends Charity Auction was held at Dallas Fort Worth Auto Auction. The night brought in well over $ 100,000 (final total coming soon). The three events this year were all about providing much needed funding to an exceptional cause at the Cook Childrens Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.
We thank each and everyone that participated in this years event, and we will keep you posted on the upcoming events during 2006.
August 10th, 2005
Jeremy's Ride was completed on Saturday - August 6th. The final count is not in as of this time - but it looks like this event will be adding about $ 16,000 to the total donation made to Cook Childrens' Hospital this year.

Something new for 2005 - the 1st Annual - Jeremy's Ride. See the section on this exciting new event. Riders will be traveling some 800 miles across the Great State of Texas all for the cause.
Fund Raising Update - we currently have over $ 11,500 raised .. but have a long way to go, we have several upcoming events. Your help is appreciated.
May - 2005
The annual Jeremy's Friends Charity Auction and Golf Event have been scheduled for the 2005 year.
This year the event will be held on Saturday - September 10th (Charity Auction), and Sunday - September 11th (Golf Event).
The Charity Event will be held at the hosting facility - Dallas Fort Worth Auto Auction, 12101 Trinity Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas 76040.
The Golf Event will once again be held at the White Stone Golf Club, located in Benbrook, Texas.
